On 22 April 2026, the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (CRPC) will organise its second event for businesses, “Half a Day for Business: A Successful Entrepreneur, a Protected Consumer”, continuing regular and targeted information exchange with the business community on consumer protection issues and product safety.

The event will take place on 22 April 2025, from 9:00 to 15:30, at the National Library of Latvia, 3 Mūkusalas Street, Riga.

Purpose of the Event

The aim of the event is to provide businesses with practical, up‑to‑date and useful information on:

  • the safety of artificial intelligence products and cybersecurity requirements;
  • the Digital Product Passport, the Toy Regulation, the Right to Repair Directive, and changes in the construction products market;
  • key aspects and nuances of commercial practices;
  • improving customer service, including effective complaint handling.

Participants will also be able to take part in workshops, which this time will focus on e‑commerce labyrinths and accessibility.

Event participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual consultations from CRPC experts.
