Out-of-court Dispute Settlement
Out-of-court dispute settlement bodies have been created to help people and organisations
in the EU challenge content moderation decisions by online platforms.
Made possible by the Digital Services Act, they cover everything from social media to
shopping platforms.
Key Features:
- A fair alternative to going to court, without limiting your legal rights.
- Independent and ensure decisions are reviewed by a human.
- Free of charge or only a small fee.
- While decisions are not legally binding, platforms are required to engage in good faith.
