  • Performance at low outdoor temperatures, particularly in Latvia’s climatic conditions.

CRPC urges consumers not to rely solely on advertising claims about significant savings or “suitability for all homes.”

  • The energy label, which allows comparison of energy efficiency between different units;

  • The technical data sheet, listing key performance parameters;

  • The user and maintenance conditions, which affect both performance and operating costs.

Before Signing a Contract, Consumers Are Advised to Clarify:

  • Whether the offer includes system design and installation;

  • What the warranty conditions are and what may affect their validity;

  • Whether after-sales service and technical support will be provided.

CRPC reminds consumers that they have the right to receive clear, understandable, and truthful information about the heat pump being offered. If specific savings are promised, the trader must substantiate them with objective data.

A well-considered choice is the most important prerequisite for ensuring that a heat pump becomes a cost-effective and reliable long-term solution.
