The Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) has included several companies in its Blacklist due to serious violations of consumer rights. These companies have failed to fulfil their obligations towards consumers, including the failure to provide goods or services in accordance with contracts, disregard for consumers’ right of withdrawal, failure to refund payments made, and non-compliance with decisions adopted by the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission:

  • SIA “Longo Latvia”

  • SIA “BigTour Tickets”

  • SIA “Māja elpo”

  • SIA “JA Mēbeles”

  • SIA “vienmer.lv”

  • SIA “KALISART”

The listed companies operate in various sectors that are significant for consumers in everyday life, including car sales, tourism services, the purchase of furniture and household goods, as well as e-commerce.

Companies are included in the Blacklist in cases where consumer rights have been significantly infringed, the company has failed to comply with a decision of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission, and has not compensated the consumer for the losses incurred.

SIA “Longo Latvia”
A vehicle that did not comply with the terms of the contract was delivered to the consumer, and the paid amount was not refunded.

SIA “BigTour Tickets” 
No refund was provided for a cancelled trip.

SIA “Māja elpo”
A ventilation system that did not comply with the terms of the contract was supplied, and the consumer did not receive a refund.

SIA “JA Mēbeles” 
A sofa was not delivered, and the consumer did not receive a refund.

SIA “vienmer.lv”
Failure to respect the consumer’s right of withdrawal; the paid amount was not refunded.

SIA “KALISART” 
Restrictions on the exercise of the right of withdrawal when purchasing a baby stroller.
