Based on information provided by consumers, the organisers of the Pitbull concert that did not take place on 29 July 2026 have sent affected consumers information about the organisational details of the Calvin Harris concert, including changes to the Golden Circle ticket category. As a result, consumers may be given the impression that they have already agreed to attend the Calvin Harris concert instead of receiving a refund for the cancelled Pitbull concert.
The Consumer Rights Protection Centre (CRPC) emphasises that consumers have the right to choose whether to accept the organiser's proposed alternative or to reject it and request a refund.
The CRPC reminds consumers that the Consumer Rights Protection Law grants consumers the right to withdraw from a contract if the service is not provided within the agreed timeframe. Once a consumer has informed the event organiser of their wish to receive a refund, the service provider must reimburse the full ticket price without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the request.
The CRPC encourages consumers to carefully monitor all information provided by the organiser and to retain all correspondence related to the ticket purchase and any refund request.
