Consumer rights

There are cases, when service, that just have been received, or commodity, that just have been bought, shows some defect. That is why first thing that must be done after buying service or commodity, is to save check or other payment verifying document. If there is case, when purchased commodity or received service is not in compliance with provisions of the contract*, then please examine problem solving scheme given below.

 

If vendor, manufacturer or provider of service ignores one of the specified stages, consumer must address Consumer Rights Protection Centre.

 

Consumer has a right to raise a claim about commodity or service, which is not in compliance with provisions of the contract, during 2 years from the day of purchase of commodity or receiving of service.

If consumer has bought commodity, which is not in compliance with provisions of the contract, then, if defect was detected during first six month, consumer has rights to raise a claim to manufacturer or vendor with one of the following petitions:

• Exchange commodity to the same or equivalent
• To repair commodity or to cover expenses of repair
• Reduction of the price
• To return the money paid for commodity

 

After six month:

• Exchange commodity to the same or equivalent
• To repair commodity or to cover expenses of repair
• In the case, when vendor is not able to fulfill petitions mentioned above, consumer can demand return of money in proportion with depreciation found by expertise.

 

If consumer has received service, which is not in compliance with provisions of the contract, then, if defect was detected during first six month, consumer has rights to raise a claim with one of the following petitions:

• Reduction of the price
• Elimination of non-compliance free of charge
• To produce other thing or provide proper service
• To return the money paid for service

 

After six month:

• To eliminate non-compliance of service or to compensate costs created by elimination
• To provide service, which is in compliance with provisions of the contract
• In the case, when vendor is not able to fulfill petitions mentioned above, consumer can demand return of money in proportion with depreciation found by expertise.
